Unique woods create an exciting challenge for us and we have created projects out of Jatoba, Teak, Lacewood, Butternut, Lyptus, Pear and many other commercially available woods in addition to urban woods such as Cottonwood, Silver Maple and Walnut.  Homestead also delights in re-claimed woods and has perfected the art of re-using treasures that have served their purpose for one life and are ready for the next.  With special tooling we dry, clean, de-nail and straighten this “old growth” lumber to create some of the “greenest” and most exciting projects you will find.  We excel at one-of-a-kind projects and you will find that to be true when you review our photo gallery.
